SWAYAM (સ્વયંમ પોર્ટલ)

Students will now be able to do its Certificate, Diploma and PG Diploma courses without getting admission in institutes like IIM, IIT and IGNOU.

Top faculties of the country, including MHRD and AICTE, serving as faculty at IITs and IIM institutes, have launched an online self-name portal without any fees. Through which free learning courses at school, college and university level have been started.

About 200 courses have been uploaded so far on the Engineers and Non-Engineers portal through Swayam i.e. "Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds" portal

www.swayam.gov.in.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee University and Saurashtra University will also design courses for the portal and transfer the university's curriculum to e-content. Some online courses of Isaac University will also be brought on the portal itself.

Saurashtra University has also joined and it is planned to provide information about its courses to the students through computer center if they need it. Various courses are available for students. It will be decided in the near future to place some certificate courses, how many diplomas and PG diplomas on the course site.

The portal will have video lectures, studies, assessment materials. Apart from the portal, the course can also be joined through the app. So far students will be able to keep themselves updated through the Index Foreign Massive Open online course.

The self-portal will benefit students working with the job. Examination to get the certificate after completing the course will be given by the Ministry of Human Resource Development and AICTE.
