PM Kisan FPO Scheme 2020
The government has announced big gifts to farmers. Farmers will now get an income of up to Rs 15 lakh. However, many conditions have been laid down to get it and the rupee will be given only on the basis of those conditions. The scheme is named PM Kisan FPO Scheme 2020. It is believed that this could improve the situation of farmers. The government will spend Rs 6,865 crore on the scheme by 2024.
What is the purpose of the scheme?
This scheme has been started by the Central Government to provide financial relief to the farmers. So that farmers can be free from middlemen. It means Farmer Producer Organizations (FPO).
Who will get Rs 15 lakh?
You have to create an FPO for Rs 15 lakh. It will have a group of farmers. The group will get Rs 15 lakh. This group should have at least 11 farmers. These 11 farmers will have to form an organization or company.

What will be the benefit of this?
The scheme will provide various benefits to any group of farmers. The farmers of the country will be given benefits like business in agriculture. Farmers are being given the opportunity to turn farming into a business.
Will an agri company alone earn Rs 15 lakh?
No, 11 farmers will have to register under the Companies Act after forming an agri company. This company has to work for the benefit of the producer. Similar institutions will get Rs 15 lakh.

Which state will get this benefit?
Farmers in all the states of the country will benefit from it. You can create an organization in any state. If the farmers are from the plain area then 300 farmers will have to join you. If it is from Uttarakhand or other hilly areas then 100 farmers will have to be involved.
How to apply?
The government has not yet started the registration process. So, after a while when the government will start it fully, you can apply for it. A notification about this may come soon.
