Cultivation of Aloe vera to get a good crop

Despite being such a useful and important medicinal plant, its systematic cultivation is very limited. The main chemical ingredient in aloe vera juice is barbolin, which is extremely bitter in taste. The juice dries to a thick brown substance known as aloe, elia or musabar. In Ayurvedic medicine, gynecological medicines like Kumari Asav, Kumari Dhrita, Kumari Pak etc. are made from aloe vera.

Climate:
This crop adapts to hot and dry climate.
Soil:
Sandy, loamy or medium black well drained soil is suitable for aloe vera and tolerates sodium and potassium salts. A maximum pH of 7.5 As long as it can be raised. Fertile soil grows well.
Varieties:
NBPGR, New Delhi has selected varieties with more alloy (20.8-R7%) such as, IC-11171, IC-11140, I. C.-1113 and IC-1113.
Sowing time:
Sowing in July-August of monsoon. Irrigation facility can be sown in February-March.

Selection of yellow for sowing:
Select for sowing of aloe vera seedlings which are 2-3 months old with 3-4 leaves and height of 20-2 cm.
Sowing distance:
Planting of aloe vera is 0 x 30 cm. Or x 30 cm. The distance can be kept according to the fertility of the soil.
Yellow (sucker) requirement:
3,000 to 5,000 yellow / ha.
Fertilizer:
10 to 15 tons of manure / hectare,
Irrigation:
6 to 8 irrigations as per requirement every year.
