Assistance Scheme for Establishment of 12 Milking Animals Dairy Farms for Self-Employment Animal Husbandry Business
Purpose
Give importance to animal husbandry business at the village level, make animal husbandry a pillar of rural employment and give more impetus to animal husbandry business at the village level through financial incentives to double the income of farmers by the year 2022.

Benefit of the scheme
6.5% interest subsidy for general category beneficiaries and 5.5% interest subsidy for women, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes beneficiaries for 5 (five) years on bank loan obtained for purchase of milch cattle, maximum 15% interest for Gir / Kankraj Help.

50% maximum assistance of Rs. 1.50 lakh for construction of kettle shed, 75% maximum assistance of Rs. 3.5 lakh for Gir / Kankraj.
75% maximum assistance of Rs. 2,500 / - on three consecutive years of insurance premium for livestock, 90% maximum on Gir / Kankraj Rs. 31,50 / - assistance
75% of unit cost on electric chaffcutter, fogger system and milking machine, maximum Rs. 15,000 / - and Rs. 2,500 / - and Rs. 90% of the unit cost for Gir / Kankraj at a maximum of Rs. 15,000 / -, Rs. 5,000 / - and Rs. 20,200 / - assistance.
Scheme application method
After approving loan from Reserve Bank for the purchase of 15 milch cattle from a recognized financial institution / bank / agricultural co-operative society, application has to be made on the link given below.

Method of implementation of the scheme
Necessary documents of the online application, photos of the form and video clip have to be delivered to the designated office within the stipulated time. Scrutiny and selection of the winner is then done by the various appointed committees.
