Information on Modern Cultivation of Mango (આંબાની આધુનિક ખેતીની માહિતી)

Mango is an important crop in India and Gujarat. Which has more nutritional value and economic value. And in terms of popularity, it is unrivaled in the world. That is why Carrie has been dubbed the "King of Fruits". It is believed to have originated in northeastern India and northern Burma. Mangoes are rich in vitamins, calcium, phosphorus, iron, potash and magnesium.

From India to USA, Netherlands, China, Gulf countries, UK. And now 5 mangoes are exported to Japan.

Land: Well drained, 2 m deep, fertile land is suitable. Goradu-Besar land is also ideal. If the salinity is high, the water is full, the drainage is not good. This crop does not grow well in soils where the water table is high.

Climate: This crop is closely associated with climate. In monsoon, 30 to 40 mm of rainfall is distributed during June to September. Rainy, moderately cold, dry humid winters and moderately hot summers are like mangoes. The dry season without humidity till September 5, when the rains stopped in September, is very useful in the process of mango blossoming and fruiting. Cloudy, foggy weather or Mawthu at the time of flowering is very harmful. And the incidence of diseases and pests is very high.
If the temperature stays below 200C for a long time, the growth of 5 veins in mango flower slows down. The flower has less vibrational power. Also, in the flower in which the fruit is set, due to the destruction of the embryo, a small mango is born. Which does not have a gout.

Information on the method of cultivation:
If you want to plant any fruit, it is necessary to plan in advance. Certified mango seedlings can be purchased from a university, government or reputable nursery or a new seedling can be made and planted yourself. Mango is usually planted at 10 × 10 m. At present, the approach of Dhanishtha Vavetar Ghdhati Jm3 is going on. In which more trees are planted in the unit area. According to this, it can be planted at a distance of 3 × 2 m, 2 × 3 m or 5 × 3 m, but it is necessary to take care of training and pruning in the trees planted during the chain period. Varieties like Dasheri and Amrapali have been recommended by Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi to be planted at 32.7 m and 2.38.2 m respectively.

Land preparation for planting
Lay out at the distance prescribed for planting and then prepare a pit of 1 × 1 × 1 m for planting in summer. Let it go for 15 to 20 days. Then mix soil and manure or compost manure in the ratio of 1: 1, 200 g of phosphorus and 200 g of muriate of potash to fill the pit and mark the wooden ridge for planting. If weed infestation is found, dissolve 100 gm / pit methyl parathion powder or chlorpyrifos foss in 10 ml / 10 liters and pour into the pit.

When to come for compost
Where there is no irrigation facility, all the above quantity should come in the month of June i.e. at the beginning of monsoon and where there is facility of irrigation, in the month of June, full quantity of manure, phosphorus and potash and half quantity of nitrogen fertilizer should be added. Come on. In this case, if you want to do green watering, sprinkle Ikkad or flax in the first rain in the month of June and bury it in the ground in 1 to 2 months.

How to get fertilizer:
Adult trees are usually planted 1.5 to 20 m away from the trunk or 24 to 30 cm depending on the girth of the tree. Make a holi and 20 to 24 cm flying ring and cover it with manure.
Based on the results of the research done at Krishi Prayogik Kendra, Periya

Spraying of 1% boron in 50% flowering stage of mango increases the rate of fruit set from the flower.
સમાં In the month of October-November (after 3 days of new crushing) spraying of 1% potassium dihydrogen phosphate alone or mixed with 1% potassium nitrate increases the yield of flowers.

Irrigation system:
Fruit Mango crop needs a dry period of 2 to 6 months before flowering. So after the completion of monsoon, there is no need for irrigation.

When mango fruits are about the size of peas, first watering should be done and then second irrigation should be done at intervals of 20 to 24 days so that the fruits stop falling and the size and weight of the fruits increase.

Intercropping
Falau mango crop needs dry weather and low humidity after monsoon. So it is not advisable to intercrop during this time. However, one or two waterlogged pulses can be harvested in summer.

Education and sorting:
If mango is an evergreen tree, the effects of pruning are less. However, pruning and cultivating in Dhanishtha plantations can yield more in the long run.

It is very important for sunlight to enter the mango tree. That is why small branches should be pruned if they are shading each other. So that the fruit can be obtained from the lower branches of the tree. Do not prune thick and large branches.

Based on the research done at Krishi Prayogik Kendra, ધ Riya, good yield has been obtained by planting 5 to 10 to 20 cm of mango seedlings alternately every year in Dhanishtha planting system.
When 10 m. Trees planted at 10th intervals have yielded more fruits every 4th year after unloading of mangoes, intertwined twigs and centering.

Renovation of old shrubs:
If there are very large trees and the branches touch each other, the yield is less due to lack of sunlight. As well as unloading of mangoes, spraying of pesticides, etc., there are also difficulties in the work. Based on the research done at Krishi Prayogik Kendra, ૫ Riya, the outer branches of large trees should be cut from a height of 3 to 4 meters and from a height of 5 to 6 meters. Care should be taken not to tear the branches in any way while cutting. Apply a paste of chopped oxychloride or Borde mixture to the cut part. The cut branches sprout in the same number of branches. Selecting 2 to 3 branches in such a way that they do not cast shadows on each other in each direction, remove the extra branches. If there is a possibility of damage to the mango tree in such trees, it should be inspected frequently and if the wood is found to be dehydrated, the tree should be controlled.

Daily information of the clauses:
Mango can be planted at any time of the year but if planted in cloudy and slow rains at the beginning of monsoon, excellent results are obtained and during the first three months rain water is received and the cuttings are fixed in the soil. If there is a long period of rain, then irrigation should come.

Mango Fruit Erosion:
Due to variety of mangoes, bad weather, disease and pests, nutrient depletion, lack of moisture, fruits are spoiled. The following control measures should be taken to prevent this.
Planting 5 to 7 varieties in Ambawadiya.

Mango is more susceptible to major diseases like powdery mildew, black spot and black fungus and pests like beetles, thrips and thrips. To control which, spray as required as per the recommended list.

Apply fertilizer to mango trees every year as recommended.

Apply nitrogenous fertilizer and irrigation when mango peas are grown. Then after 20 to 24 days another irrigation should come.

When it becomes like mango peas, add 2 g of naphthalene acetic acid or 8 ml in 100 liters of water. Spraying of Planoficus and 2 kg urea solution in a span of 18-20 days.
