Kisan Parivahan Yojana
Farmers in the state usually use tractors for transportation of agricultural produce and in case of shortage of goods, the tenants deliver the agricultural produce to the farm markets or other markets by other goods carriage vehicles. Farmers often face difficulties when a vehicle is not available for transportation. Thus, in order to facilitate the transportation of agricultural produce and enable the farmers of the state to install goods carriage vehicles, a scheme has been started to provide financial assistance to the farmers of the state on purchase of medium size goods carriage vehicles from 2020-21. 100% state sponsored scheme.
Prerequisite for availing the benefit of the scheme
Any farmer in the state can avail this scheme.
Can take assistance per account once in five years.
The empaneled model of the company empaneled by the account remains to be purchased.

Benefits of the scheme
The following assistance is provided under the scheme.
Category 1): Small / Marginal / Women / Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe farmers: 5% of total expenditure or Rs. 5,000 / - which is less than two
Category 2): General / Other Farmers: 5% of the total cost or Rs. 50,000 / - whichever is less
The method of availing the scheme
In order to avail the benefits of this scheme, the farmer has to apply on the i-farmer portal and follow the prescribed procedure.
The farmer account holder can avail the benefit of this scheme subject to the resolution of the Government subject to the scheme resolution.
For this scheme, it is necessary to contact the District Agriculture Officer of the concerned district.
